What are skin tags?

A skin tag is excess skin where a protruding irregularity has been created by your body. They are often found in areas that rub against tight clothing or other parts of the body such as the armpits.

How are skin tags treated?

Skin tags are treated with cryotherapy, which is a freeze technique using nitrous oxide. It works extremely well and in 99% of cases it leaves no mark.

What can I expect during the treatment?

There is no pain with this treatment, it just feels very cold.

Is there any down time?

Cryotherapy can be administered in a lunch hour because there is no down time except in some cases a small blister may form, which is easily managed.

How long will it take to see the results?

It will take two to three weeks for the skin tags to drop off once treated.

How many treatments are needed?

Most skin tags are removed with one treatment but in the case of very large tags a second freeze may be necessary.

How much does it cost?
